An Introduction to Art Clay Silver
10am - 4pm
An in depth introduction to Art Clay Silver covering the various types of Art Clay and their uses. Suitable for complete beginners or those who have not been using Art Clay for very long. You will make a two or three pieces of finished jewellery to take home with you. Price includes 20g of Art Clay Silver plus use of all tools.
Bezel Setting in Art Clay
10am - 4pm
A one day course for those already using Art Clay Silver. Learn about making fine silver bezels, frames and surrounds for setting stones and pre-fired enamels in your Art Clay Silver. Price includes 20g of Art Clay Silver and use of all tools.
Enamelling on Art Clay Silver
10am - 4pm
A one day course for beginners to enamelling. Learn the basic enamelling techniques and how to enamel on Art Clay Silver. Price includes 20g of Art Clay Silver and the use of all tools. This course is best suited to those with some Art Clay experience.
Advanced Art Clay
10am - 4pm
A one day course for those already using Art Clay Silver. Learn about the more complex techniques including the different ways you can add gold to your Art Clay Silver, forming hollow shapes and larger items, attaching findings and stones and the use of other mixed media. Price includes 20g of Art Clay Silver and use of all tools.
Constructional Art Clay
A one day course for those who have already done an Advanced Course in Art Clay Silver. Learn about the different ways you can construct Art Clay Silver to make hollow boxes and shapes and also about adding hinges and joints to your pieces. Price includes 20g of Art Clay Silver and use of all tools.
Fancy an intensive day of learning the Art Clay skills you want? I am now teaching one to one workshops at a cost of £140 for the day and two to one workshops at £200 (£100 per person) for the day. You can choose any of the above subjects or email me to discuss a tailor made day covering whatever Art Clay skills you want to cover. Workshops are held in Hastings on a date to be agreed with you. I do sometimes teach group workshops on fixed dates. If available these will be listed here and in the shop section of my website. Fixed date workshops are for 4 - 5 people and are held in The Garden Room, beside Sackville Road Methodist Church, Sackville Road, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex. This lovely airy room is ideally suited to small groups and in nice weather we have the patio doors open onto the garden where you can eat your lunch.
